my clownfish are alive, but lying down on my rocks. What are they doing are they dying what do i do

what does the water test say, ph, alk, salinity, and so on..

If they otherwise act normal and your water quality is good a mated pair may be spawning if so you'll see them tending egg sacks soon enough on some flat surface near their favorite spot. Don’t count on the process going any further unless you want to learn and invest to breed them.

How long have you had them. I know some Clowns can have sleeping habits that may appear to be dead.
