I recently had an out break of ich in my tank. It was brought into the tank by a purple tang. I left it for awhile thinking that if I raised the temp it may cause it to go away. Was 74 raised to 79. Since then I recently got a quarantine tank and put the purple tang in it. I was treating him with a form of copper. Today he died. I also lost 2 perculas a flame angel and two blennies.
All of this happened last week. I did a 1/3 water change and all of the water tests out perfectly. So this week I figured I would start over w/ small fish, I bought a 1" bicolor goat and a Yellow clown goby yesterday. Today they are both dead.
Can anybody please give me any opinion at all as to what to look for, I am at a loss. I want to replenish my tank so that I can enjoy it, but I don't want to kill these new fish right away either.
Any help would be great. Thanks.
