Dying Liverock?

I have had live rock in my tank for a week. The tank water is very good with regard to ammonia, nitrate,nitrite and PH. All of the purple algae is turning white and brown and a brown algae is growing on the sides and substrate. The fish are fine. What can I do to save the algae? Is this natural?

All the rock I've put in both my tanks have done this.It's called dieoff. I'm sure there are ways to keep it from happening,but I hav'nt heard of it yet. Just have to wait till it grows back out.And it will.I've been using Coral-Vite for a couple weeks now, and I can already see the differance.....STEVE
