Looks like it is just getting ready to slough off the waxy layer that builds up on it. Do you have it in a area that gets direct flow.

toadstools r very tough. from the pic, i'd say its shedding its mucus off. try not having direct flow pointing at it. most corals like indirect flow.

Well gooed news I can see the tenticles coming back out of it again and can tell it is shedding something.....Thanks for yalls help

Well the tenticles went back in and it still looks the same.......Now the Devils hand that I got last wednesday withdrew its tenticle things and is shedding as well......

As long as your water quality is good and you have the proper equipment in place you have nothing to worry about. Those type leathers do this periodically to remove any buildup on them.

In my short experience, I have found that giving the toadstool direct flow during shedding helps. After it is done shedding I move it into a moderate flow area.

I know the Devils hand was under alot more light where I bought it from.....The Toadstool was at he lfs for along time.....
