i have a 125 reef, for the past month i have been having a serious problem with dyno's.i have done four 15 gal water changes in the past month but it keeps comeing back! some of my lps corals are not extending the polyps like they normally do and are showing signs of stress. now to my parameters, first off i use a kent hi-s 60gpd ro/di with a fairly new membrane.i use i.o. salt at 1.025.temp 78 i use a 1/4 horse chiller, the tank has been running for over a year with no problems. i also run a k2r calcium reactor wich keeps my cal at 475 dripping 25 cc/min,dkh12.2,alc4.34,po3-0,no3-0,ph is 8.0 in the morning and 8.23 lights out.bio load is not an issue and all params seem to be where they should be.lighting is 250 watt 10k ushio halides which i cut back to 6 hours and vho actinics 12 hours. before i go crazy please give me some help!!!!!!!! thanks, bob

Wow, dinos are tough. Unfortunately water changes aren't going to help in the least unless you spotted them right away and can suck them all out. They feed on calcium carbonate, so you don't have to be concerned with "nutrients". The only effective way I know to get rid of them is to run a UV sterilizer.
HTH... Good Luck

Ozonizer will make your problems go away in a week's time from what I've read. Do some reading before you decide to buy one though, they are tough on certain things.
