Today I was watching the weather forcast and it looks like the hurricane is definatly heading our way.I live in the Tidewater Virginia area and anybody in The east coast region should prep for the worst.I know others here have bought generators and such to keep thier tanks going when snowstorms hit.I myself can't afford one right now because I just bought an 83 year old house that needs lots of work.Hopefully we will all fair well and if and when the power goes out it will be short lived!

I live on the Chesapeake Bay and the last track I saw had it coming right up the bay. The last time we had a hurricane it knocked out the power for 4 days! I did't have a reef tank back then. I hope this thing changes it's mind!!!! My house was built in 1907!

Speaking of hurricanes, has anyone heard from that guy in Bermuda since that last one went thru there? When it looked like it was headed my way I asked my LFS their plan, they said fill up the sumps and run. Good luck guys.

GAS POWERED HONDA GENERATOR!
(plus I just filled up the extra 10 gal gas can!)
Good Luck to all from the Boston area.....
of course, with all this prep and big money spent on the generator and stuff, it wont even be windy around here.....
