Eating Fish?

Just about all of the finicky fish I read about, it says "Make sure the fish is eating while at the LFS or dont even consider bringing it home."...my question is, how can you be 100% certain? I mean obviously any LFS employee will tell you that they are just to sell them. So, how will you know for sure?

i always ask them to feed the fish in front of me. it can be a pain, but i'd rather know for myself before i drop the cash for a fish.

They will put some food in there if you ask. If they wont, you need to go to a different LFS
