Eclipse hood

My new tank that I bought has two eclispe hoods. Each has a double light fixture and I wanted to take one of the bulbs out and replace it with a blue actinic(sp?) bulb. On the hood it says to use up to 18 watt bulbs and the blue one is a 20 watt. Safe to put in the 20 watt?

yeah, your safe with those lights in it. That is what I am running in my eclipse right now. I don't know what you are planning on doing with your tank but if you think you might want to venture into corals, that won't be enough light. If you really want light you should forget about the eclipse and get a full hood, then get some PC's with a MH. I plan on converting my eclipse 2 to a minireef and am upgrading the hood with 2 65 Watts PC's.
If you plan on just having fish then you should be fine with 2 blues and 2 10K bulbs. Good luck!
