ALL PLEASE READ AND ADVISE...........
I have to upgrade my lighting on my 37 gallon eclipse system 3. I bought the 55 watt retro fit (which was the biggest I could find) when I set up the tank last November. Well of course, I need more watts. So I have two options and I would like everyons input on both. I can find a way to replace or add to the current lighting under the eclipse hood (this is what I would like to do) or I can build a new hood with better lights and a fan. Under the first option, does anyone here know how to get more than 55 watts under an eclipse system 3 hood? If not, would some here please, please help me design a new hood? I will be willing to pay for your survices. Money is not the problem. I only say that because I do not want someone to think that I was trying to save money and didnt do it the right way in the first place. If I had to do it again I would get a bigger tank and not an eclipse, but I chalk it up to experience, or lack there of. Thank you so much for you help.
