Eclipse Lighting

If anyone has a 29 gallon Eclipse Reef tank I was curious on how too setup my lighting. Since the filter is fixed into the hood I wanted to know if it is safe to mount lights to the eclipse top. If anyone has done this let me know. Thanks Pictures would help me a lot.

They make retro fit kits for the Eclipses. I got one for my 37 gallon.

I bought a retro kit for my 29 gallon eclipse. I did have do build my own hood for it since it wouldn't fit in the current eclipse lid.

In my opinion? Return the eclipse and get a different tank -.-
These sytems are not made for saltwater...especially not the stock filter...but that's just me. I'm just mad at it
My solution? Want an all-in-one-system? Get the 24G nano cube -.- LOL...but some people may tell you that's hopping from one hole to the next.
Best bet, make your own system...go buy an aquarium and a skimmer with a canopy and start from there...you won't be limited by space these all-in-one-kits will give you.
