eclipse system

I am trying to decide what to do with my 80 gallon eclipse. It's close to being cycled. I've upgraded the lighting with a retrofit pc kit to bring the lighting to 110 watts. If I did the math correctly. I would like to add a skimmer but cannot seem to find one that will work unless I cut the hood. Any suggestions on the lighting and skimmer?

A diy canopy would be the way to go. Then look into euther a overflow box and in sump skimmer or a nice hang on. Sea-life systems makes a good hang on. By far one of the best.

Thanks for the input. I'll have to read a little more on the DIY hood, and the sump setup.
