Was just wondering how the marineland eclipse systems are. I saw they come in 3 and 6 gallon setups. Has anyone used these for a nano system ever? How did they work out. I would love to get a nano tank going.
I think u should go with the biocube or the aquapod. I have a aquapod and it hasnt gave me any problems so im loving it. Dont go with the eclipse, I had a 12 gallon eclipse and it sucks, excuse my language but it does.
I bought a six gallon for my 4yr old. I am a big fan of the hood integrated filtration and how quiet it is. I think its plenty filtration given the ease of water changes on a 6 gallon. I am not a big fan of acrylic and the tank is acrylic and being so prone to scratching. not something that mixes well with a 4yr old (but then again how many have saltwater aquariums). I'm sure there are kits with better lighting and filtration but for my needs I wasn't interested in those things and there is probably room to retro fit enough lighting for basic corals if I wanted to (I dont have the saltwater version).
