Eclipse Tank

I just bought a new 29 gallon Eclipse tank. Do i need to add any kind of filter or anything else to it or is it ready for saltwater fish already???

It's ready for fish. Just make sure you add them very slowly.

I have kept salt water fish in an eclipse tank for over 7 months. It works great, but if you want corals, you would need new lighting. Otherwise, it is all ready for your fish.

If you replace the crappy eclipse bulbs with coral-suitable bulbs, then you can keep some shrooms and stuff. I would maybe use one 10K and one 50/50. If I had a 29, I would gradually add the following fish:
percula clown
coral beauty
flame hawk
bangai cardinal
-maybe- a sifter goby or scooter blenny
Just what I would do with a 29, not gospel of course.
