Economy RO unit.

My LFS sells pre-made sea water for 2USD a gallon. Now that isn't expensive but I wanted to make my own in house to cut down on the hassle of picking up the water and save money in the long run.
What I was looking for in an RO/DI unit:
+Doesn't need to be 150gpd, I only will need 15-20 a week.
+Efficient, Id prefer less waste water.
+Relatively inexpensive (More $ for fishies! or coral or inverts or.....)
Any suggestions would be a great help!

A typhoon 3 from air water ice is a good unit. Its what i have and prefer. Their customer service is excellent and their units are tried and true.

I have the regular Typhoon from AWI.. LOVE IT! just make sure of a few things, WHATEVER RO unit you get, #1 make sure it has a DI... do NOT get just a regular RO.. make sure its RO/DI...#2 get a 75g per day membrane.. lasts longer than the 100 GPD no matter what, lol #3 check what minerals and other things ARE in your municipal water BEFORE getting your unit... you may need a dual chloramine filter if they have a high # or a double DI... get the numbers and call the manufacturer of whatever company you go with and ask them.. they are the experts...( I did actually talk to AWI to decide,, they did not try to upsell me or talk me into anything I did not need)
