ecosystem for an aggressive 180

Would an ecosystem filter be a good choice for a 180 tank of triggers, and a lion. I'm thinking three or for triggers, and one lion. Or would I be better to stick with the traditional wet/dry, and protein skimmer that I'm currently using on my 100 gal with the same fish. I have a small lion, two small huma humas, small v-line, two med. gobys, 1 med. blenny, and three damels, that somehow have managed to do very well in my 100gal. I also have 150 lbs of live rock, and 80 of sand in the tank.

Anthem, thanks for the reply. I have the other tank, and all the things I need minus filtration. My LFS is trying to get me to go the eco-system route, but I tend to agree with what you are saying. I think the wet dry is still the best for what I want my tank to be.
Do you think my fish selection will work long term in the 180?

Thanks Ed. I think I'll stick with my plan for now. My triggers are all the size of Quarters right now, maybe a little smaller. I'm thinking of going with the Aqua Clear Pro 300 wetdry. It has a built in skimmer, and is rated for 300 gal tank. Or would I be better off to build one out of a 30gal long, and by a skimmer? I'm thinking of staying with a flow rate around 1200gal/hr using two drilled overflows, with a center drilled return. Thoughts?
