ecosystem? whats up?

being a newbie to this hobby im wondering....humm...do these claims of mud based alge srubbing-natural filtration lay claim to a new style of reef keeping? if you have any suggestions on trying this method or any hybred eco/berlin system that shows promise
and worthy of their cost...let me know.
maybe someday i can admire my own reef
i know that the people who own reef tanks know the earth and her creatures...and love them.
i admire you..and appreciate your input into your world

I have seen a tank in Raliegh NC setup with one. Looks awsome, but, it is a small tank with very little bio-load.
Before I could tell you accuretly, I would like to see one setup on a large tank with a more moderate load on it.
