Eel Emergency (I think)!!

While feeding my tanks tonight my Snowflake (24-26") bite the plastic feeding stick, curled up around it and snapped the end off the stick, before I could even back up and look the shrimp and 1-2" piece of feeding stick were gone.
I assume he ate it. Anyone else ever had this happen? I 'm really freaking out right now as I've come to love this big fat pig and I'd hate to loose him.
I know there is nothing I can do, but will I loose him? Anyone else had this happen?

if he did swollow it which i doubt he did he will just toss it up in defense.. just like eating something to big or bad that he doesnt like.. alot of problems can occur obviously if it is sharp, but you would see it in him if something were to happen..JMO

Wel as of this morning he looks fine and is moving about in the tank. But there is no doubt he swallowed it. I looked around to see if he regurged it, but I have not seen anything yet.
He was in full gorge mode so it may take a few days before he even get down to digesting it or spitting it up.
Fingers Crossed!

Was is a common clear plexi stick. And if so could it have gone camo in the tank if it was a clear plexi stick? I could see how a pice could break off fall in to the sand and be gone if it was this type.
