SFE's are cool and pretty much always available at the lfs, but sometimes they have other cool looking ones
The following eel species are pretty common in LFSs around here, and they would work well in your 55g tank:
fimbriated moray
golden/goldentail moray
dragon moray
banded moray/ringed moray
zebra moray
ribbon eel
Chainlink moray / chain moray
Snowflake moray
viper moray
Some of these eels are more likely to go after fish than others, although your dwarf lion should be fine with most of these guys, presuming you get them at the same time. The SFE, goldentail, and chainlink I have seen with dwarf lions. Some eels are more docile than others, if you see one you're interested in ask on the forum and someone can check their copy of Scott Michael's 'Reef Fishes Vol. 1' book and give you some more info.
As far as your triggers go, I have to plead the fifth, I have yet to keep triggers, so you'll have to ask some other keepers on this forum.
