eel id please?

Not a wolf for sure. Actually wolf eels arent actually even true eels I dont believe. I think they are actually a type of fish, with modified fins. They have regular gill flaps as opposed to the "hole in the neck" look that a normal eel would have. Sorry I cant help you ID the eel, but I can tell you it is not a wolf.

Looks to me, if the coloration were brighter, a gymnothorax kidako. I'm looking at different eels and tell you if I find another possibility. Also ask in the Aggressive Fish section.

ummmmm no...def. not a wolf..look at the head/mouth
I have seen Mexican Dragons that looked similar, but I dont think that is what it is.

I agree it is not a wolf eel. It looks like a mix of a brazillian dragon and a golden tail moray.

If it had brighter coloration I'd say it's defenitely a Kidako
