Hey KJR, do you still have your Gold Tail Moray? Mine's gotten pretty much full size I think. Not very long but he's gotten really thick, maybe 16" + long. Hard to really measure an eel since it's never fully stretched out.
Yep....When I first got my Crosshatch pair I was really worried about him. I swear he didn't eat for 3 weeks or so, I have always had to feed him with tongs, but having to deal with that big Male Crosshatch along with the Lime Green Wrasse attacking the tongs every time they went in was too much for him for awhile. He is now bolder and looking for food every other night typically, and not afraid to go after it. Though I still try to sneak him the food when the Trigger and Wrasse are not looking.
He has been a lot like my Snowflake in my previous tank. Very seclusive the first year and now coming out more and more. He has been a slow grower, 8 or 9 inches when I got him in may of 09, maybe 13, or 14 at the most now. He is getting rounder as well. I think they will both probably continue to grow, but VERY slowly.
What do you feed your? Mine really isn't into Silversides, so he is pretty much on a shrimp only diet, maybe the occasional piece of squid.
