EEL question?

Which eel is known to be the most active , as far as swimming around and being out in the open?
Also has anyone experianced the personality of a blu ribbon...if so please tell.

Out of the eels I've owned, my large snowflake was the most active and most personable. Although this may be a function of his tankmates stealing his food, he may just have been hungry more often than my other eels.

In general, Gymnothorax species (especially the ones that are aggressive) tend to be more active than Echidna species. If you see a large Green moray, you'll know what I'm talking about!

If you want an active snowflake, pick one that is swimming around and not hiding in a pipe, mine was like that and he responds to me and my schedual, he waits for me to feed him at night in a seperate cave at the other end of the tank

. All of this depends on the personality of the eel. I'm not sure about blue ribbons, but from what I've seen at my lfs the just sit around. Also save your money, they are the least hardiest eels due to their feeding habits.
