I was wondering if there are any eels that i could add in my tank. I have a 125gal with a SFE,black dogface puffer, blue cod grouper and a coral catshark. Is there any eel that would be ok with the rest of these guys..Everything is pretty large.

There are quite a few species that would be perfect for that size tank. My only concern, from seeing pics that you've posted, is that you have very minimal rockwork in the tank, so you'll have room for your shark.
You'd need to double, if not triple the amount of rock in your tank, to make the SFE and anothe species comfortable in your tank. The bad thing is though, your shark wouldnt be comfortable.

Yes this is a common downfall to predetory tanks. you can never put everything you want in the tank together.

Very true. Especially sharks and eels, sharks and triggers, sharks and puffers, sharks and angels, etc., etc., etc.

Yeah, too bad. I've got a Hawaiian Dragon Eel that insists on living alone. He wants to eat everyone that I've tried him with. Oh well, he's very worth the trouble
And don't say I could try a lionfish. I have and he ate him!!!!

Wow...you have a very aggressive Dragon. I have a female Hawaiian adult and she's great...let's me touch her, hand feed, sleeps in the same cave with my Whitemouth Moray, etc.
Is your male or female?...and, do you have any pics?

Yeah, lucky me, huh? :notsure: Nah, it's all good. I'm lucky to have one! I've posted pics before, but they aren't the best pics. I'll take some new ones soon.

Now see you have a male dragon eel and you keep putting in female fish that just nag him too much about his messy eating habits . so crunch no more naging going on and a meal too boot.

the puffer keeps to himself in the tank..He swims mostly in the mid - higher level of the tank and i havent seen him attempt to nip at anyone..If he is messing with the shark it is at night when all the lights are out, but the shark has no signs of nipping or anything. The puffer swims away from the shark and the grouper when the lights are on so i think everything is cool at night too, especially since the shark is more active when the lights are out. if he would get picked on anytime it would be during the day when he is laying down in the same spot. But even during the day my shark is pretty active.
