eels and sharks!

how aggresive are the tesselata eels? do they require a species only or would it be possible to house one with a shark and ray and a few larger fish?

Absolute species only!
Just because they attack fish, does not mean they always eat it.
You other fish, too large for the Tess. to eat, would end up wounded and dead.
Also...you'd need something in the 1000gal. range, to house an adult Tess.

ok cool.. i dont know a whole lot about eels.. ive spemt most my time with sharks and rays and some larger fish.. i wasnt to sure how aggressive the tessalatas were. and i know the snowflake eels are ok with larger fish and sharks and rays but are there any other eels that would be ok with them? and im not worried about tank size right now i just wanna know what would be ok with them ive got a tank for them to grow up in and i have a large pond thing thats like 12 feet around or more and is about 30 inches tall or so that ill be housing them in if they grow too large in less than a year b/c in about 7 months ill be able to move and ill have enough space for a much larger tank!
