I still havent seen my brazilian dragon eat a thing. Its been about a week. I tried silversides, lance fish, and prawn. I put it on a feeding stick and put it at the tip of his mouth and he just moves away. I tried putting garlic on it. I am gonna go out and get some clam tomorrow I hope he eats that. Any other ideas? Thanks

best advice i can give you is to be patient.he will eat when hes ready.if they arent attacking it then there not hungry or still acclimating to his surroundings.

First off, they're not fish eaters. Secondly, silversides, lance fish and prawn offer little to no nutrition for fish. They're basically all small bones and water.
Offer shrimp, octo and squid...soaking in garlic, if need be.

Where I was buying it, I was buying shell on shrimp from the supermarket. I was having to buy octo and squid from the speciality fish market.

Why do you buy shell on shrimp? Does the shell provide nutritional value?

i think there was a debate on "shell" of "no shell" and i beleiev the conclusion was preference.
Also shell on a shrimp is what they would eat in the wild soo..
OR you can spoil your fish and de-shell the shrimp for them
