EELS?

I was at the LFS and saw a small snowflake eel hiding under some coral and thought that it would be a nice addition to my tank. the problem is that i can not find a good web page that talks about keeping eels(my fish books do not talk about them either). Also, most of the post on the BB say that their eels have died. Is that a common thing with eels or just bad luck? does anybody know of a good page for research?

Hey man, where are you from in Colorado? Just asking. a good resource for eels, is Marine Fishes Vol. 1 by Scott w. Michael, it has a huge section on all of the different types of moray and other eels, that are found in the ocean and sometime offered in the aquarium trade.

Snowflakes are hardy, and pretty easy to keep if you tank is big enough and there is no small fish or inverts. The tough ones to keep are ribbon eels.
