Eggs or something?

I found a couple of white small groups of eggs or something floating on the top of water...it looks like pieces of styrofoam...little molecues attached to each other....I have seen them before...any ideas on what it is?

if this is a new tank it is most likely styrofoam. Take em out.

No....old setup! 8 mos old.......
NO its not styrofoam.......now am I dealing with professional people here or WHAT!!!!!!!!!

I get that kind of thing when I mix new saltwater. I heard it was calcium.

That was my next guess.

Do you have any ceriths? Maybe it's some of their eggs that broke loose from the glass or something.
