Eheim 2228 & UV

Hello:
Thank You!! in advance for any information you may be able to share.
I have a 125 Gal fish only tank and have a CPR CMY194 wet/dry system with skimer.
I want to add a mechanical filter and was thinking of a Eheim 2228, does any one out there have this filter? how do you like it? Also, what UV sterilizer whould be appropriate for this filter?

I have run eheim filter for many years on both salt and fresh water tank, never had a problem with them. You just have to keep them cleaned out every now and then. You can run a UV on the output of the canister filter back into your tank, just match the flow rate of the filter to the size of the UV and it will work great. You might want to check around at some of the other canister filters, some are easier to clean then the eheim. Good Luck
