Elegance coral

I have read somethings about elegance as far as placement and b4 i go and get one, if there is any left, i would like to know where have you had your best luck w/ the pink tip. some online post say in a shadier area for the pink tip do to the fact they they are being collected from deeper waters but who knows for sure if thats true so that is why i am conducting this poll. thanks for your participation.

Save your money and don't get it. Their survival rates recently have been horrible.

I have one on the bottom of my tank right in the middle. So far so good but it I only have it about six weeks. I placed it like I was placing shrooms and it has great color.

We also bougt an elegance coral about 6 weeks ago. We placed it on the bottom in the sand and it is doing wonderful, it is pink tipped. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Here is a pic a few weeks after I bought it under the atinics.

Are people who fail at keeping these trying it without MH? I have read in different sources where authors suggest that they do not need much light. I don't buy it. That is probably a big reason people have problems with them IMO.

Good suggestion. I have never seen one that did real well with out MH. Mine is doing wonderful and we have 2 14k MH. I wonder if you can frag it out? does anyone know? :notsure:
