Eliminate Aiptasia Anemones with Lemon Juice

Has anyone used this technique and did it work. Also what was the effect on your ph

I haven't tried it, but would be very wary of it. Lemon juice could definitely affect pH depending on the dosage, and won't differentiate between pest and other coral as it's swept through the water.

This is what i used, kalkwasser, mix it into a liquid paste and put it into a shringe, squirt it into the mouth, they melt!! then my pepermint shrimp ate them . havent had a problem at all.:yes:

I used lemon juice and it worked fine. You have to use a needle and inject it into them though. I just did a few at a time and checked my ph, no change. i figured it was best to space it out over several days in case it does change ph.

I decided to go with my LFS recommendation by using Joesjuice. It worked pretty well so far.
