Emerald Crab & Coral Banded Shrimp?

Have emerald crab and want to add a coral banded shrimp....will they get along?
55g with 50-70lbs of LR
Also does anbody else have emerald crab that eats coraline algae?...I thought they were supposed to be eating my bubble algae!!!

I have a japanese b/c shrimp and an emerald crab. No probs yet.

They should get along fine. We have emeralds, sally lightfoots and have had coral banded shrimp together fine. Now a coral banded and an arrow crab may not do too well...

If you have any other shrimp in the tank the CBS will go after them. Every shrimp I've added, cleaner and peppermint, have been killed by the CBS. I hate him! I just can't catch him.

I have a peppermint shrimp with my CBS. No probs yet. (Fingers crossed!)

Thanks everyone...I also have peppermint shrimp that was supposed to be taking care of my aiptasia, but all he does is hide! Kids keep asking me why do I buy something we hardly ever see!!! Coral banded shrimp do not seem to hide in the LFS.

My peppermint will actually climb onto my fingers and clean them. He will also clean any new rock I put into my main tank. I just hold it out in front of him and he climbs on and gets to work. Now that's what I call cracking the whip.
