Emerald Crab... Nipping at Green Polyps?

I just got an Emerald Crab to take care of some Valonia that I have in the tank...
I noticed yesterday that he's nipping at the Green Star Polyps. I thought they were somewhat "reef safe"... Should I be concerned?

"Somewhat" being the operative word. Normally emeralds will pick off algae from LR, however, they can end up getting into things that they shouldn't. Keep an eye on it. I'm assuming you do have LR, correct?

Yeah, I have about 50# of LR...
I guess I'll keep an eye on him..
