Emerald crab not doing well

I got an Emerald crab Saturday and now it's barely moving. I tested my salinity (I should of done it ahead of time) and noticed it was at 1.019. I slowly raised it up to 1.023. Do you think this was the issue. Does it have a chance? Thanks for any help.

Well, the salinity may well be an issue but not necessarily. I've had my emerald crab now for a month and he hardly moves either. Mostly hides under a rock. Still alive though.
