Emerald Crabs

Would emerald crabs eat all the corraline on my LR???
I got 2 BTW

The 4 I have are VERY SHY! When they see myself or our 4 year old they freeze! Most of the time they are hiding out between the LR eating green alage! Today we saw one down on the sand bed! I think the are very neat looking also!

I have two and they like to hide. It's nice to see them every once in a while. I doubt they would eat your coraline.

that's good to know, i was just wondering cause i see them picking at my LR............

the emeralds are just cleaning. they will not eat your coralline. They will eat bubble algae though (green0 i have 2 emeralds and the big one always stays in sight...but the smaller one is no where to be found.

Mine are pretty skittish too.They sure are:nervous: little guys.

I have two Emerald Crabs in my tank and they are very bold! They like to knock over coral and rocks in the tank (maybe on accident) and I have been pinched by one while fixing their undoing. But, they are good cleaners if you can deal with a little destruction.
