emerald eating FD?

My new purchases are awesome! Everyone is doing great and I am so enjoying them. Hope it continues!
Anyway..I'm looking in my tank and there is one of those emerald crabs picking at the stem of my feather duster and eating whatever he's picking off. Is this okay or not?

I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless it seems to be bothering the feather duster. I've personally had good experiences with emeralds. Mine just liked to steal food from my anemone. Good Luck.
