Emergency! Help!

So i am a bit naive when it comes to diseases. I wasnt aware that my tank was infected with ich til i noticed that just about all my fish have spots and have been rubbing its self across the sand and rock. I kind of noticed awhile back on my blue tang(s) but my cleaner shrimp(s) would always be on him/her, and then the spots would disappear. The cleaner shrimps dont seem to be helpful now. I have a 120g reef tank with corals and invertebraes. I just had my water tested at a fish store and everything seems to be fine (just a little low on my calcium). i have 5 tangs, 2 clowns, 2 chromis, 1 wrasse, and 1 goby. Ich only seems to be visible be on 4 of the tangs. I just recently added a kole tang without realizing how at a bad state my tank really is.
What is the best and quickest way to solve this issue before it gets out of hand.
any information regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated!
oh and please tell me whether this should have its own thread or combined in another thread
I noticed beth was disturbed that many threads were created with the same or similar situation.
I just need as many suggestions as possible.

Please help,
I have read all.
I just like to know other than getting a QT and solve with hyposalinity or copper, are there other ways to recover them all. Or id like to know which way would benefit more or be quicker.
thanks.

With out copper or hyposalinity there is only one other thing that is beneficial bio-control and feeding most will die. If one did survive, the ich would sill be in the tank and it would likely wind up with ich in short order. Any stressed additions would likely get ich also.
I do favor bio-control to extend the life and reduce the damage ich is causing, but I find it is not effective at clearing ich.

There are a host of so-called "reef safe" options that I don't personally endorse. There is a topic in the FAQ Thread that has various threads discussing these.
Just know that this is not likely to be an answer. Also, you have way too many tangs in your tank which does and will heighten their stress levels.

+1, 5 tangs in a 120 is wayyy over pushing it. I'm willing to bet the ich showed up in the first place because of the high stress levels and the subsequent decrease in immune ability of the fish... Long answer short: You will need to quarantine your fish and treat them with formalin (copper) / hyposalinity or they will most likely die. Sorry for the bad news. PLEASE read through our forums here and ask before you do anything and it will definitely prevent you from running into these issues again.

Ich isn't brought on by stress. They are parasites. Stress weakens the fish's immune system which causes the fish to be more susceptible to ich then they may normally be. Formalin is not copper, nor is it used to treat ich. I am not sure where that came from. I do agree that the amount of tangs that you have in a 120 will make it close to impossible to control ich. Ich can be controlled in lightly stocked tanks but not in this situation. You will have to treat them all. I am sorry.
