Emergency....

I just got home from work and found my 2" long white with lacey/polyp like frills down both sides nudibranch stuck to the intake of my skimmer. Are all nudi's poisonous?? If it is dead, will it release toxins in the tank? I turned off the skimmer and moved the little guy to the sand, but he hasn't moved yet. Suggestions?? I do want to keep him if I can. He hitchhiked into my tank on my leather coral and has never been a problem.

Not all nudibrachs are posionous so it would depend on the type but if you dont know seperate him into a cup of tank water and see if he starts to move in a decent amount of time if he dont then toss him

Oh well, my nudi has been declared DOA and was flushed at 12:55am CST. The tank seems fine, although some star polyps have retracted, but I'll add some carbon to be on the safe side. I wish I would have taken a picture of my nudi, he was incredibly fascinating and beautiful.
