emergency!!

ok i have a 24 gal jbj nano cube and i was just doing my water change and i took out the 2 sponges in chamber 1 and the first sponge in chamber 2 i rinsed them and put them back , and when i turned the tank back on it made this loud noise and now its still doing the noise but not as loud. what should i do? it seems to be coming from the power head but i didnt do anything their?

Unplug the powerhead, they cant operate out of water. It wrecks them. I did that once and it made a loud annyoing noise. So unplug it and dont plug it back in until you get the water completely covering it.
That should be the problem
