Emperor 280 BIO-Wheel Filter

Hey does anybody have a Emperor 280 BIO-Wheel Filter on their nano? If you do, can you tell me how you like it. I just ordered one, and was just wondering what yall thought about it. Thanks.

biowheels tend to build up crud leading to high nitrates. apparently its best to just take out the wheel and let it run over the filter pad, hopefully someone else has better experience.
i had a eclipse 12 that had a biowheel and i know that tank always had algae but it was my "learning tank"
