emperor angel need help

hi all
i have a emperor angel that has what looks like small pathces of white cotton spots on it body i cant see any red sores on or under the cotton spots but i have been treating it with mela fix over the last few days it seems to be helping but i read on another sight that it mite be a good idea to take the fish out and wipe it with iodine does anybody agree with that?or the fresh water dip for teatment. what fungel meds
does anybody think is the best for this fungas.the fish is still big and fat and it still hand feeds i my water quality has slipped since summer began but i will be chaging 10g aday intill the water volume is chaged. i really thought about fresh watering this fish for a small period of time and then rubbing it with iodine but thought i would check first we all know what these fish cost and wont let it die with out a fight!!!!!!

i think i will go with the maroxy thnks for the reply and no i did not think of looking for any thing on the melafix because i have had nothing but positive results using this product on past fish some real close to death with them still being alive today because of melafix.but i will do the search thanks again!

you could be right but i thought lymphocystis had a the same white look but not the cotton i rushed into any thing yet execpt for water changes.but as i look at the spots they are odd shaped most have like a cotton ball look but now i see some spots on the fins also but deffintly not the ick look.i have only had this fish for a month or two its tank mates are a lionfish and a humma trigger they seem to get along great the first 2 fish ive had for over a year now the tank is 75g with a uv ster i been feeding him diff typse of alga from a refugium on my reef,fresh shrimp+dried,myis shrimp,brine shrimp when i grow um or go to the lfs+some differnt flake foods
any other help would gladly be appreciated
or does any body recomend any special vitamins that may help with the imune system
