what size tank does a emp angel need for its entire life ? and how long quickly does it grow .
i currently have a 6ft 180 G tank and i want to know how long i would have before i would have to upgrade and what size tank i would have to upgrade to ?
preferably a 8 to 10 foot tank that is about 2 to 3 feet wide. The gallons isnt exact its foot print IMO. They are big fish that dont like small tanks. But if it had to be gallons Id say 250g 8 feet long for a fully grown Emperor as the main center piece of the tank. To mix fully grown angels around 300 to 350g again 8 foot tank. These fish swim a lot.
Ya'll are raining on my parade!!! I know deep down that they must have a very large tank but I was also hoping someone would say "they are fine in a 120 gal". I adore them and soooo would love to have one.......I guess I like them enough to want them to be healthy and happy.....Man.
The dwarf angels are beautiful, but just not the same.
the other option that i was thinking about was going with 3 dwarf angels a bicolor ,flame and coral beauty , is 3 dwarf angels in a 180 G tank pushing it ?
No way. I have two in a 75 and they will be fine for life. You could get a goldflake in a 180 for life or any of the smaller larger angels.
Id do a Powder Blue tang. 4 dwarfs amd a goldflake.
