Emperor Angel

I would like to get an emperor angel for
my fish only tank. I currently have 1 yelloe
tang (approx. 3"), 3 blue damsels (1.25"-
2.25"), 1 coral beauty (2.5"), and 1 hawaiian
halfmoon (1") in a 55gal tank. Does this
sound okay?

Hi,
the fish are fine for tankmates, although emperors are big fish that can get to well over a foot in length, I don't think a 55-gallon would be big enough. I wouldn't keep one in anything less that a 90, preferably larger.

It depends on how old your tank is,and your filteration. Do you have a skimmer? Any live rock? Your getting close to what they say is the limit for a young tank(less than 8mos). STEVE
