emporer 400 retaining clips

i was just wondering if anyone had a problem with the retaining clips for the spray bar on the emporer breaking i just broke mine one one side <img src="graemlins//confused2.gif" border="0" alt="[confused2]" /> it looks like its working without it though i was wondering if anyone has had this happen and did it end up leaking or anything

I broke one once, but I replaced it right away. I got lucky and the LFS had some extras around. I don't know if there is enough pressure going in the spray bar to work it lose, but I would not take a chance.

I took both of mine off for the first cleaning and never needed to put them back on. The spray bars fit firmly in the socket and it just makes it easier to clean with out them.
