Please help -
My 5 year old engineer goby is sort of floating. He is alive but he barely holding on. Last night I fed the tank and he would not come out to eat which is VERY strange. Today I found him vertical in the water with him head in the substrate and tail in the middle of the water column.
His belly looks a little bloated, almost like he could have an impaction. The other thing is he created a "den" in the corner of the tank and that corner is a bit of a dead spot where detritus sits and algae tends to grow. Last night i noticed a lot of growth on his den so I adjusted the flow so his den had a little more direct movement.
Last thing - he seems to have tiny reddish/brown spots on him - QT'd with no flow because the flow seemed to just push him around. Temp up or down? Salinity up or down?
