Maybe it's because everything is coming from Hawaii, but still....... the prices are outlandish for a lot of their products. To answer your question; no, I do not think you need the Vibrance product to maintain a healthy seahorse. I do a couple thinkgs for mine: if I use live brine, I add a pinch of coral frenzy to the brine holding tank to enrich the shrimp, as well as a squirt of Selcon. I also soak the frozen mysis in Selcon a couple times a week.....but not every feeding. It's good to add some extra vitamins and HUFAs that Selcon can provide, but I don't think you necessarily need to go spending 60+ dollars on the Vibrance.
