Ok What kinds of epoxies are safe for under water use? I know the ones you buy from fish places are.. but I'm talking go to the hardware store and buy kinds. I usually use superglue but I install corian and have a bunch of leftover epxoy. and am curious if I can use it. I am going to contact Du pont and ask them but I like getting peoples feedback.

If you look on the package it will say if it is okay for prolonged use under water. Also, some say they are okay for under water use, but not potable water; I wouldn't use those either.
If they don't say anything, call the manufacturer.
There are several that specify that they are safe for aquarium use.

There is an epoxy putty called Recta Seal sold in hardware stores(plumbing dept) that is safe for sw use.
