I just purchased live rock from swf.com and i need to know what i need to re-cure the rock.
It's 20lbs and so far ihave salt water in a rubbermaid container with a heater. I have a bubbler and a HOB filter waiting in the sidelines.
Do i have to use the HOB filter or can i just use the bubbler (Sandstone with air pump), or do i have to use both?
How long will this take for 20 lbs of live rock approx.?

i would get a powerhead for curent and use good 50% water changes. also this should take about 3-4 weeks appr.

pretty much anything to move water around. Since it was pre cured, and probably only has a little die off, it shouldnt take too long to re-cure. Maybe a week or so. Depends on how much die off you got.

Is this for an existing tank or one that you are just setting up?

You should keep a HOB filter in the container to keep the smell down.I am currently cureing 60lbs of LR in a rubbermaid container, with two power heads a HOB filter, protien skimmer and a heater.

it is for an existing tank. I have the rock now in a rubbermaid bucket with a HOB and heater. I am crossing my fingers it doesn't take too long because it's very pretty  and i want to get it in the tank asap.
