estimating tank size?

is there a way to estimate gow many gallons of water a tank will hold, by using the dimensions??? if there is can you tell me how to do it???? PLEEEEEEEEASE????

Hey Pat,
Check this tank calculator site out! Don't forget to put in your substrate type and depth also! It will tell you LOTS about water weight, water flow, substrate weight, recommended total fish length and total weight too! I almost swear by it! :cool:

All you need to know is that there are 231 cubic inches per gallon, so multiply length x width x height, and divide by 231.
