Evaporation

Hi all,
New to the whole SW scene. Been looking into it for over a year, and I finally decided to take the plunge.(Especially after seeing some the fantastic nanos on this site.) So I purchased a BC29 from someone who was getting out of the hobby. So here is my set up:
BC29, Sunpod 150W MH lights, RIO6 return pump, Koralia 1 PH, ~30#LR, CUC, 7or8 different corals, tank raised perc, and a 6 line wrasse. My question is, does topping off 1/2gal. a day sound like alot? I usually top off 1/4 gal. in the morning and 1/4 gal. in the evening. Just trying to get everyones take on that.

Sounds right. I'm about the same for my 29.

That sounds perfectly normal to me.

That is one downside to MH lights, they evaporate a lot of water, but you do have a chance to have better, heathier, and more diverse coral.
