Ever seen this before

my BTA blew up like a blow fish last night after the lights went out, never seen it do that before, any ideas why? this morning looked normal again. had for about 6 years now,thanks

Not sure maybe it needed a little bit more of a purge than normal. Maybe getting ready to split..

yeah, had it 6 years and it has split a number of times but never seen that before, got 7 off of one.
