That's a water dam. Water spills over the top down into the overflow and through the bottom of the tank to the filters and stuff. :joy:

jlem (or anyone), how do you clean your tank with all those corals? I'm getting some soon and I don't want them to sting me while I'm trying to clean the glass.:confused:

A little bare right now...but then I'm just starting. As soon as I get my lights upgraded, I think I'll be ready to add some corals. I may add some LR before then.

This is the first saltwater tank, est. 11-2000.
Cherry stained, hellolights under hood
Only VHOs, Actinic lite
Room lights off
The pic is dark to show VHO effect

I like this one of Clarkii checking out the front yard. We bought him, Coral Beauty and many beautiful corals, lr from a friend in Lubbock. We had them for 24 hours this pic.
